Job Title : *Data Analytics Analyst* Location : *Minneapolis, MN* Duration : 6+ months Description: • Execute queries and build reports to inform marketing decision making, including key user profile / segmentation analysis for marketing initiatives. • Perform statistical analysis to support business needs. Anticipates client’s future and ongoing needs. • Build reporting solutions to meet business needs. This involves iterative build processes and frequently reviewing design and build with business partners. • Partner with lead Mobile Analyst, Marketing/Merchandising BI, and Data Quality groups to execute business needs and find efficiencies, to enable timely, data-driven decision making. • Under direction from Lead Analyst, grow data mining, movement, and reporting capabilities in an ever changing, product business environment. • Monitor and maintain ETL jobs for data reporting solutions for multiple stakeholders, including Digital Marketing, Merchandising, and third party vendors • Find innovative solutions to the challenges inherent in dealing with big data and fast-paced business needs. • Technical experience querying large amounts of data from multiple systems is key to success. REQUIREMENTS: • 3-5 years relevant experience (e.g. previous data mining experience) required. • Proven analytical tool experience (Adobe, Google Analytics, Tableau). • Experience managing and analyzing large data sets to solve key business questions. • Coding ability to write pass-through SQL. • Experience with SQL for accessing IBM DB2, Oracle & Teradata. • SAS experience a plus. • Hadoop experience a plus. • Intermediate to Advanced Web Focus Skills a plus. • Experience using the ReportCaster scheduling tool. • Strong execution skills, problem solving, communication. • Retail transaction data experience a plus. • Predictive analytics experience a plus. • Excel proficiency.
