Manage the selection and articulation of supporting technologies used to integrate with client's existing systems. Interact with domain experts and data architects to define data models for streaming input and analytics output. Design strategies and detailed approaches to integrate Hadoop with existing applications, including but not limited to NoSQL, DWH and Data Mart applications. Have deep knowledge in healthcare data needs in the context of Big Data analytics. Lead a team that is geographically distributed in multiple time zones *Required Skills:-*15+ years overall software development and consulting experience with a success track record. Deep knowledge in current trends in areas of Big Data, Data Analytics and machine data integration. 3+ years of experience leading complex distributed Cloud/SOA and Big Data projects. Strong experience with Hadoop platform, including underlying metadata, data storage and tools. Hands-on experience in at least one major vendor specific Hadoop platform (preferably GreenPlum or Cloudera), more is preferred. Experience and knowledge in at least one NoSQL DB (MapReduce, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Oozie and Mahout). Knowledge in data mining related to DWH and Data Marts, as well as libraries. Experience in data modeling. Strong customer interfacing skills, including executive levels and capabilities to draw consensus.
