*6 MONTH CONTRACT* *Rate: 35/hr * 1. *ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:* *General statement of duties and responsibilities: * The candidate will act a liaison between the vendor and grants team from technical and business standpoint during the life cycle of the grants implementation. *Detailed statement of duties and responsibilities:* - Act as a liaison between vendor and grants team from technical and business standpoint. - Act as an integration technical analyst for the Grants Management application. - Maintain solid understanding of the Grants Management application. - Log bugs, communicate application problems to vendor, and facilitate vendor efforts to resolve with customer. - Facilitate vendor efforts to migrate data from the legacy system to the new application - Facilitate integration of new application with existing ESE architecture components like single sign-on - Track all production problems in a defect tracking system. - Maintain configuration management of the production system. - Perform backup and recovery of production application system. - Perform code review of custom code with vendor. - Port code from development environment into production. - Coordination with staff subject matter experts, technical staff, and internal/external stakeholders. - Analyze business and user needs, document requirements and translate into systems specifications - Define configuration requirements for new program - Identifying changes to workflow configurations to meet new program requirements - Perform system configurations and ensure business needs are met - Provide technical support for G3(tm) configured solution - Troubleshoot system issues - Deliver training to end users *Required Qualifications:* - 5+ years programming experience in core JAVA, J2EE, EJB and JMS. - Hands-on experience with standard J2EE and associated development tools like Weblogic, JBuilder, Eclipse, Ant and JUnit. - Experience participating in projects using iterative development methodology such as RUP. - Experience documenting use cases using UML. - Experience with web services in a Java/J2EE environment. - Previous experience deploying/integrating third-party software - Development experience in Windows 2003/2008. - Strong understanding of requirements for databases supporting transactional applications - Experience in relational databases and SQL · Unit testing as well as regression testing. - Be able to gather accurate requirements.
