*Role: *Java UI Developer - Sencha Framework *Location* - San Jose, CA *Summary of the Role* The candidate will be involved in requirement analysis, coding, unit testing, integration and support of core UI and Java code as well as handling the communication between the UI layer and the Backend layer of the application. Candidates should have good interpersonal and communication skills and in his/her capacity as a software engineer in the UI team, he/she will have to interact with other developers in the team *Main Responsibilities* - Must be able to clearly understand the technology already in place and apply the best practices of coding/unit testing especially in Java, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX & JSPs - Must be able to deliver with in well-defined timeline - Able to follow and implement the features required by the chosen methodology (Unit testing, Integration testing, etc...) *Skills & Knowledge – Technical / Functional and Managerial* - Should possess strong knowledge in Core Java. He/She should have worked on or have a very good knowledge of application frameworks like Struts or Spring. Should be proficient in core UI technologies like HTML4.0/5.0, HTML DOM manipulation using Javascript, JSP, Servlets, XML, Object Oriented Javascript, CSS2.0, CSS 3.0, Ajax etc. Should have worked on or have a very good knowledge on one or more JS libraries like JQuery, ExtJS (*Sencha),* DOJO, MooTools etc. *Years of Experience* 5+ years with atleast 2+ years of relevant experience Let's Stay In Touch....
