*Need : Data Modeler/ArchtiectLocation : Indianapolis,INDuration : 6+months* *Phone Interview* *Project/Position Description:* The Data Movement Architect/DBA is accountable for delivering a quality service globally by applying deep technical knowledge to deliver on internal programs that enhance the service capabilities, understanding the portfolio of services offered, and working with a diverse set of business partners to design and apply these services/technologies to create solutions that meet business needs. In some cases, fulfillment of these objectives may require architecting new capabilities and data movement patterns to meet the future needs of the information integration space. *Critical Duties and Responsibilities:* The Data Movement Architect will: Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for product and service planning through an understanding of the internal and external data movement operational environments internally and external industry trends. Represent the service outside the function and drive effective transfer capabilities by building on a solid understanding of the integration points with applications, platforms, network infrastructure, and other capabilities. Drive quality data movement solutions and patterns that meet the needs of global and functionally diverse business partners, both internal and external. Build effective relationships with partners to understand their objectives and needs. Influence, design, and deliver large scale projects that have global impact on the data movement service and product offerings. Create business cases, work with appropriate levels of management to manage the budget and quality deliverables for these large scale implementations. Anticipate changes to solution offerings through a broad understanding of the technical issues and the organization’s strategic direction. Partner with internal peer and/or supporting organizations and capability teams to architect and deliver current and future data movement solutions. *Required Skills/Experience:* Must have experience in supporting, managing and setting technical direction for globally offered services/technologies, including working with teams across organizational and geographic boundaries, including at multiple levels within the organization. Demonstrated versatility in technical leadership, project management, and systems/software development and implementation. Strong understanding of adherence to local and enterprise Quality Standards and Practices. *Technical Skills:* Deep knowledge of systems and the integrations between infrastructure technologies (including *operating systems, networks, firewalls, security.)*and applications. Demonstrated ability to come up the learning curve quickly on new technologies and apply them quickly (Includes: *MQ, Cyclone, Java, Unix Scripting, COTS packages). Demonstrated understanding of Unix Scripting, JAVA. *Understanding of data management practices, database design and modeling. Demonstrated experience with *MQ and Cyclone technologies, networking*. Knowledge of external data movement communication protocols *Soft Skills:* Team-player with effective self-management and problem-solving abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
