*Need :SQL Anywhere DeveloperLocation :Chantilly, VADuration :6 months contract* *Description:* Consultant will provide support to all SOA applications that connect to SQL Anywhere database. Sybase SQL Anywhere developer with some exposure to .Net or Java development. Participate in code implementation, code review and testing for new projects/enhancements. Build database schema, tables, views, procedures and triggers (experience with cursors and temporary tables is required). Troubleshoot, debug and fix existing Transact-SQL code. Build, install and test upgrade patches on both development and production environments.Strong contributor to the diverse range of projects. Consultant with track record of being an effective and creative team member in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Passion for technology, driven by the desire to learn, and be able to work within a team or with a vendor to provide a solution or solve a problem. *Required:* *5+ years of database* application development in *T-SQL, working on Sybase SQL Anywhere, Sybase ASE or MS SQL Server*. *1+ year of .Net or Java* development Ability to examine and quickly learn existing data models, business logic and processes. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and code-reading skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form.
