*Need        :Sr. BI Business Analyst with Healthcare Location:New York 
City, NY. (Local )Duration: Long Term*
 

 *F2F interview.* 
 
 *EAD, GC, or US Citizen* and must be able to convert to a full 
 
*We need strong BI experience for this role*
 
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
Interviewing managers to understand the business goals the project will 
address 
Interviewing users to understand how they do their jobs and what they need 
from data systems to boost their performance
Translating business goals, user needs and process improvements into data 
management functions and requirements.
Lead design effort to deliver interactive dashboards and data displays, 
including scoping, planning and requirements gathering in group or on one 
interviews.
Explaining the capabilities and limitations of data systems to business 
users as the project is designed and built
Create User Stories and guides to inform the development as to what is 
needed by the business and in what form
Providing guidance on project scoping to meet stakeholders' requirements.
Develop a broad understanding across a variety of department areas
Active contributor in scope and design sessions 
Develops Business, Functional and requirements; assists with technical 
requirements
Interview, guide, and lead discussions with senior level clinical 
representatives to form Business Use Cases 
Translate business requirements and programming specifications in a form 
that can be easily understood by the development team 
Recommend end user interface design, and recommend guidelines for 
development. 
 
*Skills & Experience*
Technical skills in Business Intelligence to know what is available and how 
to apply
Analytical skills to understand requests and translate these to cohesive 
requirements
Communication and client skills to elicit the needs, and gain trust
Problem solving skills to recommend solutions
Skilled in delivering BI solutions with visual displays of quantitative 
information 
Skills for listening to others' needs and concerns and translating them 
into terms that people in a different area can understand.
Five or more years experience in public health, health administration, 
business administration or information technology required. 
Advanced analytical skills to resolve difficult problems 
Minimum five years as a business analyst documenting IT applications.
Understanding of Business Intelligence is essential
Prior* Healthcare Informatics Experience *working in the development, 
analysis and implementation of information systems in a health-care 
environment or analyzing public health data is preferred
