Position:ETL/Informatica Developer Location:Salt Lake City, UT Duration:6+Months* *Description: This is a role to access the underlying databases or file systems of source applications at Client and develop/implement processes to extract data from those systems and make it available as inputs into the EDW's data integration processes. The source applications will either be database structures in a distributed environment or flat files provided by a third-party vendor. The developer will develop the extracts, apply a series of data standardization rules (dates, number formats, etc) to the data and land the data in a staging environment where it can be picked up by the ETL team. Required skills include experience with IBM's DataStage (ETL tool), Control-M (scheduling), and SQL scripting. The resource will work closely with EDW BA's to define what data is needed to extract and with the EDW modelers to define the format/structure of the data being extracted.
