Job Description:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area
8-10 years of Hands on Experience in Handling EDI production support (IBM
sterling integrator).
Sterling Integrator (SI) mapping expertise with ANSI X12 & EDIFACT
standards and advanced mapping rules.
Experience in X12 841, 843, 844, 845, 850, 855, 856, 810 is must have.
EDI and cXML Mapper experience
Steling Mapper version 8.0
Skilled Sterling Integrator programmer with thorough knowledge of BPML
Should have expertise in fundamental concepts of Sterling Integrator like
Services, Adapters, Schedulers, Mailbox, Routing rules, Remote Profile, etc.
Good understanding of different File formats like XML, Legacy Flat File
Formats and other Client Proprietary formats
Strong experience in Unix shell scripts
Proficient experience in debugging, identifying bugs before release to
production, documenting them, and maintaining fixes across releases
FTP, HTTP, and AS family protocols configuration in Sterling Integrator
Sterling Integrator admin activities like database usage, BP usage, etc
Expertise on web-service development in sterling integrator.
Extensive knowledge of logs and properties files.
Extensive knowledge on working with code lists, resource management, and
keys.
Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, mySQL databases: database
sizing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and query design.
Responsibilities
Responsible SI / B2B Integrator applications, including development,
upgrades, patch installs, communications and successful processing of all
transactions.
Support business applications related to EDI processing / interfaces.
Responsible for development and ongoing maintenance / enhancements of SI /
B2BI business processes and EDI transactions.
Prioritize new EDI trading partner requests including initial discussion,
requirements definition, design, development and support.
Manage multiple projects, EDI trading partner implementations and timelines.
Reviews trading partner requirements, mapping, and interfaces to business
applications.
Conducts testing with trading partners and integrates new customers into
EDI processes per implemented standards.
Communicates with users and management on system and process capabilities
as well as system and program design of new applications or integration of
EDI into existing applications.
Maintains existing trading partner profiles and mappings while working with
internal customer demands and interface applications.
Trains and educates groups and/or individuals on use and utilization of
systems & business processes associated EDI / electronic commerce.
Researches and understands new technologies with vendors, techniques and
trading partner initiatives; determines benefits to company and develops
best practices that can be integrated and supported.
