The team is responsible for using analytic techniques to drive sales. Examples of our work include predictive models, performance measurement including metric design and development, and providing essential insight for strategic and tactical marketing initiatives. As an Analytic Consultant, the candidate’s primary responsibility will be to support, leverage, and help expand the team’s analytic capabilities for ad hoc analysis, data aggregation, and data visualization. A primary responsibility is the execution of and ownership of data capabilities such as a characteristic library which of customer attributes that executes on customer pick lists and creates a point in time profile of relative to a date such as the date of a marketing event, and used to feed: Candidate’s primary responsibility will be to support, leverage, and help expand the team’s analytic capabilities for ad hoc analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization. A primary responsibility is the ownership of a characteristic library which includes customer attributes that are useful for predictive modeling, campaign sizing and post campaign performance analysis. Candidate will be responsible for quickly getting up to speed as to what data warehouse variables are currently contained in a characteristic library, supporting its on-going production and enhancements, and expanding it with new characteristics and derivatives. The goal is to always have transparency on business rules and technical definitions. The ideal candidate will have Teradata Database expertise and experience with data transformation and data storage consumption. The ability to synthesize large data sets, rationalize the complexities of integrating customer information across disparate systems with different timing and customer identifiers, and communicate effectively with key contributors and managers is essential to the success of a candidate. Additionally candidate will need to have experience developing dashboard and reporting in tools such as Tableau or Microstrategy and deploying them to end users. Candidate must have practical experience with database analysis in an environment with multiple large-scale complex databases.
