The candidate must have extensive knowledge in troubleshooting enterprise networks utilizing Cisco, and Riverbed hardware as well as IP routing utilizing routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP. The individual must be a proven self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with very little supervision. *Responsibilities include: * · *Layer 2 Layer 3 troubleshooting, BGP Troubleshooting, and Traffic analysis as “expert”.* · *Focus on an Operations. Someone who has worked at an enterprise level NOC. Take traffic slow calls all the time and actively have to troubleshoot all the time/* *Strong troubleshooting – will be given scenarios and should explain how to fix the issues step by step.* · *Priority is BGP* · Deliver business critical projects and maintain high levels of service supporting multiple data center and branch sites globally · Perform network systems monitoring including incident tracking from inception to resolution · Configure, troubleshoot, manage and administrate physical and virtual switching environment · Support connectivity issues on MPLS, Internet circuits, QOS, port security, and wireless environments · Perform all required operational maintenance and troubleshooting of supported systems Work with vendors, application developers, database administrators, corporate IT, and other technology groups to resolve any problems · Work as a liaison to the Operations Center to identify, isolate, and resolve problems within the WAN/LAN environment for the network, VoIP, QOS, etc. solutions · Assist Operations Center in work assignments and implementations · Perform analysis of logs and proactively track and report bandwidth usage statistics and adjustment of thresholds as necessary *Requirements:* · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred · CCNP with 5 years of experience · At least 5 years' experience supporting high availability data centers in a 24x7x365 environment · Working knowledge of routing protocols including BGP and EIGRP · Working knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Riverbed Cascade, Netscout, Wireshark · Cisco Catalyst switches 3850, 4500, 6500 series · Cisco Nexus switches 2K, 5K, 7K series · Experience with access control list (ACLs), TCP/IP.
