*Senior Level ETL Position* *Michigan* *6+ Months contract with potential for extension* *Rate is open * Working with some guidance from Principal Consultant, consults on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging technologies and associated services and processes. Leads special technical projects. Provides strategic planning and comprehensive senior level technical consulting to IT senior management and senior technical staff. Evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards. Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services. Participates in the evaluation, selection and application of new and emerging tools and techniques. Has wide latitude in determining creative solutions to strategic and operational needs. A high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required. Minimum 8 years related experience preferred. Master's degree in related field preferred. 7+ years minimum experience in ETL ( Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange) development using PL/SQL in an Oracle, Unix environment. Should be expert in Informatica, Unix and SQL with experience as Technical Lead in developing solutions architecture, design, and in leading Technical team Demonstrated development expertise in large-scale data foundation and data marts in 3NF and Dimensional modeling projects. Proficient with Unix shell scripting, Oracle PL/SQL and SQL analytic functions. Put together coding and other development required documentation (source to target mappings, functional and technical detail designs) Review code and provide feedback to development team. Mentor team and help with day-to-day technical questions and help them in creation of the following deliverables during the project life cycle: Technical requirements definition Source system analysis Source to Target Mapping documentation Informatica ETL build Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a complex technological environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment. Participate in resource planning, project planning and estimation. Status reporting and Issue Resolution are critical functions of the tech lead role Must have good communication skills, with the team, Management and the Customer Must be able present diagnostic, troubleshooting steps and conclusions to a varied audience Health insurance background required (experience with claims and membership datamarts).
