The job responsibilities would include database deployments, operational tasks related to data flowing through our systems for our customers, development and QA database system support, advanced T-SQL coding, monitoring and performance tuning. Database administrative experience a plus. *Skills required for this position include:* - Sr SQL 2008 and SQL 2014 experience - Upgrade from SQL 2008 to SQL 2014 - Advanced T-SQL coding (stored procedures, views, UDFs, triggers, partitioning) for complex T-SQL code base - Transactional replication support - Experience using data sync tools such as Idera or Red Gate - Experience monitoring systems to ensure uptime and identify issues proactively - Expert performance tuning skills - Understanding database modeling so correct design decisions are made with development - Ability to troubleshoot code issues and provide fixes in a time-sensitive manner - Excellent communication skills. This position interface with development, QA, other DBAs, and operational staff.
