Position : Sr Hyperion Developer Location: Torrance, CA Duration: Ongoing (12+ months likely) Interview: 1) Phone - Likely to be phone only and then offer Top items for role: 1) Strong experience in developing Hyperion Planning and Essbase Applications 2) Experience writing calc scripts and business rules 3) Strong understanding of Hyperion HFM and FDM applications 4) Skill for migrations and metadata management of Hyperion Application Full Job Description REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Skills: * Thorough understanding of Finance business processes in a global Finance environment. * Expert level knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, CE, Projects, FA, iExpense). * Demonstrated ability to build/ edit reports using Financial Reports with the ability to resolve data load issues using ERPi ODI application. * Demonstrated ability to design a planning application based on the requirements from business/ end users and to build an EPMA planning application. * Demonstrated ability to provide technical solutions and design recommendations based on best practices with the ability to write complex calculation scripts & business rules based on business requirements. * Ability to configure and design reports within Financial Reports. * Strong knowledge of related application configurations and processes * Proficiency with SQL based queries * Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies * Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives * Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS * Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines * Able to effectively lead and motivate small project teams * Ability to achieve results under limited direction * Strong customer and results orientation * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills Experience: * 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Technology/IT industry. * 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Oracle EBS Financials modules and processes.
