Please do not submit if you cannot provide them.* *Job description* In the role of Application Architect, you will perform the following functions – · At least 10 years of experience with DWBI and related tools · Architecture experience required should be heavily based in DATA WAREHOUSE and BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE implementations. · Demonstrated architecture experience with NoSQL including familiarity with Hadoop and Big Data architecture · Experience with LARGE DATABASES is a plus · Knowledge of UML or similar modeling language is required. · Candidate must have proven experience in the architecture beyond lead design duties with thorough understanding of application architectural componentization. · Candidate must demonstrate a deep knowledge of architecture principles and describe the employment of those on several projects. · A clear and complete understanding of the difference and delineation between architecture and high level design is required. · Understanding of INFORMATION DELIVERY and ETL applications and tools is preferred · Proven project experience and ability to lead a group through an architectural development process and collaborate with application development teams, architects, Business and other project constituents. · Ability to discover and define technical requirements and their relationship to functional requirements and to determine the adequacy of documented requirements for architecture definition. · Strong business and technology decision making skills are required. Candidate must have prior experience in a technical leadership role. · Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong leadership skills to effectively influence decisions and positively impact progress are required. *Requirements:* • Education and Certification Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education • At least of 10 years of experience in application architecture methodologies. • Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques. • Familiarity with business intelligence, data warehousing design techniques, and dimensional modeling. • Experience working with large and complex database systems and demonstrated knowledge of data integration, mapping and conformance conceptually. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as strong collaboration/influencing ability. • Knowledge of Healthcare, Insurance, and/or Financial services industry. Preferred • Healthcare or Insurance/Financial services industry knowledge is preferred, but not required.
