Atlanta, GA Phone/Skype 6-12 Months Please let me know if you have anyone with Cerner, Oracle and GoldenGate *Cerner and healthcare experience is required* Uses top-level skills based on extensive experience with Cerner and Oracle relational databases. • Provide 24 x 7 production support for large (30+ TB) databases for mission-critical applications including EMR and Data Warehouse • Problem isolation and correction • Promotion of code or parameter changes • Code review and impact analysis • Creation and maintenance of database accounts and privileges • Evaluate, install and configure Oracle products including database, client, Grid Infrastructure, and RAC • Upgrade and patch Oracle software with minimal downtime • Establish, maintain and test sound backup and recovery policies *• Golden Gate experience highly desired * • Tune SQL performance and apply baselines as necessary • Perform object and tablespace reorganizations as necessary • Maintain multiple environments including production, system test, unit test, and break-fix • Perform periodic refreshes of non-production databases • Work closely with systems, storage and application teams to isolate problems and plan for changes • Have a good understanding of the vendor data model, application architecture, and upgrade processes • Interface with Oracle technical support to resolve issues • Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts, SQL scripts and PL/SQL programs as necessary for automated monitoring and maintenance • Maintain security proactively to protect database integrity • Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills • Use experience and judgment to plan and complete multiple projects successfully and on time • Project long-term storage requirements • Participate in on-call rotation for 3-member DBA team (2 weeks out of 6) • Show ability to self-train and stay current with new features and versions • Be adaptable to fast-changing healthcare IT environment • Provide leadership and mentoring to the DBA team and other members of the IS department • Provide basic SQL Server support as needed • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management ore related field and six years of database administration experience OR • Eight years of database administration experience without a degree • Experience with healthcare IT in general, and Cerner Millennium in particular, is required *Randhir Kumar* *IDC Technologies, Inc Mailto: **randhir.ku...@idctechnologies.com* <randhir.ku...@idctechnologies.com> * _____________________________________* *Empowering Technologies Services* *Remote Services | IT Services | BPO | * *IT Consulting | Staffing Solutions |* *_____________________________________* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
