They have interviewed tons of candidates and they are all getting rejected. * * * *He needs us to just focus on a hands on QA person who has unix and or perl scripting. Excellent comm skills as they need someone to face off to dev teams. They need someone who can come up with better ways of testing things.* * * * * *Please review the candidates you have sent and let me know if they are good. I need a strong person who can talk and has excellent communication skills as they will be facing off the dev team everyday. Someone who can come in and challenge the manager with ideas!! * * * *They need someone who has worked on testing large data sets, who has used unix scripting or perl scripting for testing large data sets instead of a tool.* *They need unix scripting skills and sql skills.* *They need to be able to challenge Client in terms of coming up on improvements on how they test things.* Job Details below- Sr. QA resource who has solid development skills as well. They will work closely with development teams on settlements and clearing applications. Technical Skills Summary Database: Oracle, Sybase Ability to write and understand the complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Scripting: Ability to write and understand the Perl and Shell scripts. Operating System: Unix, Linux -Should have strong user level expertise Test management Tools: Quality Center, JIRA DEV: prior experience testing applications using the below technologies: Technical Skills Summary Programming Languages JAVA, J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JNDI, JAVA Mail, JMS), XML, MOM (Knowledge of MQSeries and JMS), PL/SQL.
