Position* *Need:Middleware Engineer Lead/ArchitectLocation:Reston, VADuration:12+months* *Position Overview* Middleware engineering organization is currently seeking a Middleware Engineer Lead to support Middleware technologies, and act as primary interface between Operations, Architecture, Engineering and technical stakeholders. The hired candidate will work with the Development and Operations Team to provide strategic support for Middleware and SOA and provide middleware engineering solutions for multiple business critical applications. Lead Middleware engineering team meetings and create all management reports. Support Operations and Development teams to resolve Oracle SOA Suite, WebLogic and Oracle Service bus issues. Middleware engineering Project Planning; Project scheduling, Project tracking and Status reports, Oversight of Customer Requirements, Work in collaboration with customer to define requirements documents, Oversight of Deliverables Work with stake holders to provide delivery schedule meeting customer satisfaction. Create Middleware engineering solutions including estimate for Hardware for Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebMethod, MQ Series based applications. Work with development teams for develops SOA applications and Web applications using JSP, Servlet and XML. Conduct POCs to demo new ideas and help solidify technical direction. Work with internal as well as external resources to achieve project goals. Work in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance & technical guidance to less experienced team members *Preferred Skills* Experience in leading team in development and maintenance projects. Experience in providing management reports. Experience in coding using Java. Excellent knowledge of Middleware products - Apache, Weblogic, SOA Suite, Oracle Service bus etc. Leadership role in at least one full life-cycle of the projects. Proven experience in managing projects and implementing Middleware/SOA/ESB solutions.
