Position below ……… Send me profiles : ar...@vedicsoft.com *Role : Systems Engineer* *Location: Parsippany, NJ* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description: * This position is responsible for assisting in the planning, design, installation, support, maintenance and recovery of server and storage hardware/software that is used as part of the *Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory*, and Messaging-computing in a multi-platform mission critical environment. This position requires extensive experience and a high level of technical understanding of the technology under the scope of the role. This person will be responsible for daily system maintenance tasks, service delivery, system functionality and availability and keeping technology current with the industry standards and best practices. Under supervision from the Manager, Engineer will participate in departmental projects by assisting in the development of project plans, documentation, and performing of project tasks. This person will be responsible for making recommendations for forecasting the growth of the environment, designing/engineering recommendations for upgrades and redesigns to stay current, competitive and provide an optimized backend infrastructure. This resource will also be required to participate in an on-call support rotation.
