Data Analyst
Location: St Louis, MO
* (Need Local)*6 months contract
*Need EAD, GC, Citizen Only!!*
The Analyst will be part of the Data Architecture team. This individual
will focus on all aspects of business process and technology associated
with Data Architecture. Key responsibilities include data modeling, data
warehousing, ETL process design, business process design, and the
documentation and presentation of Data Architecture solutions. This
individual will work very closely with key business & data analysts and
technology teams.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Personal Characteristics:
Works and communicates efficiently with non-technical users at all levels
within the organization.
Ability to produce written communications and documentation with precision
and clarity.
Performs well under pressure within team and individual setting.
Ability to adjust personal style to adapt to different situations.
Internal drive to finish work by deadlines (self motivated).
Process oriented, strong attention to detail.
Able to multi-task effectively.
Capable of learning new concepts and tools through self-study and
individual effort.
Technical Characteristics:
One to five years of experience with data profiling and general data
analysis.
One to five years of experience writing complex SQL in third normal form
environment, specifically with Oracle.
One to Five years of experience with an ETL tool including working on at
least one major project implementation.
Experience with data modeling using Erwin or related tool preferred.
Proficient with Office Tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Experience with Confluence wiki a plus.
Experience with a reporting tool.
BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information
Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
