Position 1: Sr Network Engineer / Architect with Bluecoat proxy expertise Location - NYC Total positions - 2 Provides comprehensive network consultation to business unit and IT management and staffs at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle. Performs analysis, system design, documentation, testing implementation and on-going support for extremely complex networks including firewalls, load balancers, and proxy servers. Assists in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the section and in the development of the overall project plans and timetables. Maintains relationships with vendors and other corporate telecommunications professionals. Requires excellent analytical ability for network traffic manipulation and flows, strong judgment and probe analysis techniques, an in-depth knowledge of business unit’s functions and applications, and broad knowledge of telecommunication/LAN technologies including TCP/IP, AIX/UNIX/LINUX, Windows and extensive knowledge of network management tools. Knowledge of network security tools. Must be able to lead a group of network engineers.
