*Title:  Message Broker/Middleware Developer*

*Location: East Chicago, IN*

*Duration: 2 Years *



As a Middleware Developer, you will be part of a team that supports the
business interfaces between each of our legacy systems in the US and also
the interfaces to our SAP ERP Systems.  You will be involved in the
analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of existing and new
interfaces using IBM WebSphere Message Broker. The ideal candidate will be
a strong technical resource with the ability to understand, learn and
master many different diverse technologies used across our enterprise.
They will have completed 2 -3 full life cycle WebSphere development
projects using IBM Message Broker Version 8 or greater. Web and windows
development experience using .Net Technologies would be a plus.



*Job Requirements*:

•                     Analyze requirements and develop design
specifications working with business and IT contacts

•                     Develop and maintain technical specifications

•                     Program Middleware Interfaces using IBM WebSphere
Message Broker technology including ESQL, Java, .NET and other object
oriented languages

•                     Develop, execute, and document test scripts

•                     Adhere to ArcelorMittal standards for development and
change management

•                     Provide post-installation and production support

•                     Provide support for web and windows development in a
Microsoft Environment



*Required Experience *

•                     2+ years of proven interface development using IBM
Message Broker Version 8 or newer

•                     Working knowledge of Windows Server, AIX and Linux,
preferably in a hosted environment

•                     IBM MQSeries administration including configuration
and the building of queues and channels

•                     Good knowledge and experience in the SDLC (System
Design Life Cycle) including working with business experts gathering
requirements, designing, unit testing, user acceptance testing and post
install support

•                     Familiarity with code version control tools similar
to CVS, TFS or VSS

•                     Demonstrated skills in organization, prioritization,
time-management, and decision-making

•                     Good oral & written communication skills

•                     Proven leadership skills

•                     Understanding of XML, XSLT, SOAP, XML Schemas and
WSDL concepts

•                     Knowledge of database design including the ability to
write complex queries

•                     Sound mastery of Microsoft Office Tools suite
including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

*Preferred Experience Requirement:  *

•                     2+ years of experience coding complex object oriented
programs like VB, C#, Java, C++, ESQL

•                     Knowledge of SAP ECC, SCM, TM, PI and SAP Business
Services would be a plus

•                     Web Development Experience using Microsoft
Technologies

*Educational Requirement: *

•                     BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
