The person will be responsible for: *§ Analyzing, Designing, Coding API using C language on Solaris 8 platform.* *§ Mentoring team members offshore to help them understand the application requirements and developing interfaces in C language. Supporting development and architecture to implement and configure new Middleware and infrastructure required by the application* *§ Working closely with platform engineering Matrix teams (including Unix, windows, network, monitoring, storage) to implement and support the systems and middleware.* § Planning for capacity growth and disaster recovery § Position requires after-hours work to apply patches and support when and where needed by the offshore team members. *Qualifications:* *§ A strong experience in developing interfaces in large IT environments using C language.* *§ -Efficient in using C pointers and malloc functionalities and understanding of C admin scripts and their functionalities.* *§ -Should be able to develop efficient Auth-Plugin piece upto 3 layered security using C language.* *§ 2+ years administration and deployment experience, preferably in a Red Hat Linux/Unix environment.*** *§ Good understanding of common design patterns especially using web services and portal applications.* *§ Must have played a role in helping to gather requirements for the design and development of C API's with Oracle products (OAM/OVD) using portal* *§ Must have a proven track record with integrating solutions in disparate platforms and technologies including Sun Server/ Solaris 8 OS\* *§ 5+ years of over-all information technology experience* *§ 2+ years experience WebSphere Application Server v5+*** § Proven mentoring/leadership experience § Strong database and SQL knowledge (Oracle) § Excellent verbal and written communications skills § Excellent interpersonal skills If you are interested in this position please respond with updated resume rate and Contact details ASAP.
