The BSA works directly with the business to ensure requirements and goals are correctly understood during the Analysis phase. · The BSA also works directly with the development team to ensure system enhancements are correctly transitioned to the Build phase. · The BSA creates documentation (Functional Specifications) for the Development team to code functionality into customer support applications. · Additional documentation created by the BSA to communicate planned system functionality and implementation processes to the business and development teams consists of the following: Use cases Activity diagrams Data flow diagrams Batch and online system process flows Subsystem touchpoints and dependencies Screen prototypes and user/interface designs The BSA will conduct impact assessments to understand business and application implications to requests being considered. May be asked to provide technical and\or business-execution consultation to various departments throughout the bank.
