*Web Developer Technical Lead * *Start Date: ASAP* *Location: CT* * * *Qualifications* · 8-10 years of hands-on web development experience utilizing Java, JSP, Javascript, HTML, XML, SQL, Tomcat, WebSphere, WebTrends (.Net a plus) · Resourcefulness, creativity, and innovative qualities are all an absolute necessity for this role · Must have proven experience in developing and maintaining a public website for a large corporation (provide site examples) · Must understand the importance of user experience (aesthetics, graphics, screen flow, color palette) · Must have an appreciation for the need for compliance to standards and process where they exist and help develop them where they may be lacking · Must be a team player with solid inter-personal skills, ability to multi-task, share information and collaborate with others to communicate ideas, progress and issues clearly and effectively · Must have good analytical and debugging skills; systematic approach to programming tasks. · Must have ability to understand the underlying infrastructure needed to support the Corporate websites and ensure that its kept up to date working with the Infrastructure teams · Experience in implementing a web content management tool a plus *Education/Experience* · BS degree in Computer Science/Related field preferred · Preferred certified Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) and Sun Certified Web Component Developer. · Highly motivated, self-starter, willing to mentor. · Embraces change, ability to adopt, quick thinker. · Team Player who can work independently and also direct others as needed.
