*Columbus, OH, or Irvine, CA* *6-12 Months Contract* *Senior Apex Developer* * * *Key responsibilities* - Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. - Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology. - Development of system design, documentation and implementation requirements to satisfy Corporate IT requirements - Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. - Develop and support core system applications utilizing the Oracle Application Express infrastructure. - Access and analyze vast amount of data from various disparate systems into a common data model. - Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules. - Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. - Navigate IT systems used to manage projects - including, but not limited to, Work Request Management (WRM), Resource time management (PRS/RAT), and Change Management (ITSM) *Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Other requirements include a demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast pace environment, a sense of urgency, organized and detail and task oriented. *Experience* - 6+ years of experience in systems/data analysis and design and application development. - Three to five years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience. - Minimum of three years of work experience in any of the following areas: Application technology, Middleware technology, Object Oriented technologies, database and Internet technologies, and network connectivity. - Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles. - Awareness of and experience in all phases of the system development lifecycle. - Exceptional technical, analytical, communication and documentation skills. - Strong experience working effectively in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. - Basic understanding of the company's business practices and familiarity with the company's products and services. - Oracle Application Express, javascript, css, html, jQuery, or ExtJS Javascript frameworks beneficial, but not required Successful candidate will also have: - Ability to learn quickly and see "the big picture" - Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage technical issues - Proven ability to rapidly and accurately identify and debug problems - Strong analytical, attention to detail, organizational and core project management skills - Strong understanding of the infrastructure, applications, hardware and software environment - Ability to work as part of a team or independently Regards: Sam Williams - *Recruiting Manager* [image: Sign.JPG] ITBrainiac Inc.
