*Job Title: Automation Lead or Architect* *Primary Skill: QA Architect* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Extension possible: Yes* *# of Positions: 05* *Position Type: Contract* *Location: SFO,California (50 Beale St, San Francisco, CA)* *Experience required : 10+* *Job Description* 1. Candidate should be a high-performing test automation expert on QTP having the ability to train and mentor other automation analysts on the effective design and implementation of various test automation frameworks as needed to 10 years of progressive test automation experience 2. Experience with driving test automation through the use of HP Quality Center 3. Experience and competency using standard test automation methodologies and direct scripting and coding in HP QTP such as Linear Scripting and Structured Scripting 4. Experience and competency using various test automation frameworks such as Data Driven, Table Driven, Keyword Drive, Hybrid 5. Experience in implementation of Framework from scratch. 6. Experience in descriptive programming and automating applications even if actual application is not available. 7. Good knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, design approaches, and effective implementation techniques 8. Experience working with highly complex target application environments (i.e. combination of client, web, middleware, database, mainframe, third-parties, etc.) 9. Strong communication skills - Ability to communicate and document status and complex issues effectively 10. Knowledge of various environmental elements as they relate to testing (i.e. networking, hardware, software, mid-tier, etc.), and the ability to effectively assist with troubleshooting as needed. 11. Overall QA automation experience of 5 to 7 years 12. Should be able to perform impact analysis and feasibility study on the applications under test. 13. Well versed with automation frameworks (key word / data driven / hybrid) 14. Should possess good knowledge on scripting 15. Hand’s on experience in creating and executing automation test scripts 16. Should have knowledge in creating test strategy, test plan documentation 17. Ability to automate web-based, client-server applications 18. Should have ability to create utilities using excel macros. 19.
