R12 is not required, just a nice to have. Oracle Applications DBA on 11.5.10.2 baseline patches project. Responsible for applying all baseline patches, troubleshooting customization issues and supporting the core databases throughout the upgrade process. Senior Oracle Apps DBA. Full life cycle database upgrades (8i, 9i, 10G) and Oracle Apps upgrades (11i, R12) from the development stage to postproduction performance tuning. Currently, the team is upgrading to Oracle Apps R12 and they are losing one of their DBA employees. They have a couple of hurdles they are going to try and manage internally right now, but that puts more pressure on their employees to keep the 11.5.10.2 apps up and running day to day. They need somebody who has the core DBA skills as well as the Apps DBA experience (R12 ideal, 11.5.10.2 ok). They will primarily be responsible for maintaining the current environment, but might have tasks related to the upgrade.
