I have a requirement for one of our clients. please find the job description below and share me your updated resume *ASAP*. *ROLE: Mainframe Developer* *DURATION: 12+ months contract* *LOCATION: Richardson , TX* (FACE TO FACE ONLY), LOCALS only *Pay Rate: Not to exceed $50* *Mandatory Skill and experience* Performs all or part of the software development life cycle. Develops and supports applications, modifies/enhances applications to support changing business/user needs and develops software enhancements to packaged software products. Expertise with COBOL, COBOL II, MVS, CICS, JCL and other mainframe tools and utilities on a mainframe platform. - Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. - Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget - Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code - Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus build recommendations.
