Will manage and perform standard maintenance, monitoring, and tuning of numerous SQL production database instances. Has worked with SQL 2005, 2008, and 2012. · Support existing databases while assuring optimized performance, stability and uptime. · Demonstrated experience in working on Root Cause Analysis for SQL database issues. · Tune and trouble-shoot 2005, 2008, and 2012 databases. · Troubleshoot Golden Gate replication issues. · Assess databases to assist in troubleshooting and performance tuning · Proven hands-on troubleshooting skills in a very busy environment. · Expert level understanding of database internals. · Expert level Database and SQL tuning skills with hands-on experience in large and very busy environments. · Demonstrated experience with relational database performance tuning. · Demonstrated problem solving abilities and initiative. · Support 2012 upgrades from 2008 and 2012. · Strong Windows skills required.
