Job Tittle : Ab initio Consultant. Location: Florida & New Jersey. Duration : 3-6 Months Contract. Rate :DOE. *Principal Responsibilities:* Take a Technical Lead role designing, developing and implementing enterprise reusable data technology architectures. Manage Team deliverables and resource time to ensure assigned deliverables are delivered successfully, on time with outstanding quality. Provide technical leadership in building and supporting ETL enterprise competency center technology, data warehouse physical design/implementation and business intelligence solutions. Meet or exceed project plan expectations; Provide resolutions of technical issues arising in a large environment. Provide feedback on new technology trends and changes *Qualifications:* Hands-on experience in managing and delivering high performance ETL solutions and reusable components for large-scaled system integration and data warehousing initiatives build using Ab Initio E T L tool. Hands-on experience with Ab Initio metadata management Proven expertise in data architecture/meta data administration from logical to physical level details across all major database technologies, DB2/OS390 required. Successful enterprise data warehouse Life Cycle Design and implementation. Data integration across Legacy and distributed systems. Both distributed and mainframe skills are must to have. Documenting of technical Designs, Unit Test Results and any other documentation needed to satisfy SDLC requirements. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Liaise with multiple technology teams and user communities VLDB/DW Performance Tuning, keen understanding on relational and multidimensional database internal algorithms and mechanism. Production level system and database administration expertise and experiences. Strong Relational Database Management skills (DB2,Sybase, Oracle, etc) . Expert in Ab Initio and other ETL tools. Production level Ab Initio experience is a must. Strong skills in Ansi SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl( experiences in C/C , Java development and SOA architecture is a big plus) Ability to work with Onshore/Offshore development module. *Competence Requirements:* Strong Oral and Written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. *Major Job Responsibilities:* Define Technical Designs and Framework Architecture from Business Requirements Manage Development Deliverables accountable for.
