Rest API and Web Services performance testing

 Performance Testing/Engineering skill set

APM tools – Dynatrace, Sensu , Grafana

Ability to work as part of a self-directed Agile team

*Experience Required*

1.       Experience creating automated test scripts, scenarios and
execution for various load test scenarios using Load Runner/JMeter.

2.       Experience with Capacity estimation/planning, workload modeling,
monitoring, analyzing and recommending solutions to performance problems
with enterprise business applications.

3.       Hands on experience installing and instrumenting dynatrace for new
applications.

4.       Experience analyzing the KPIs from the APM tools and identifying
the application bottlenecks.

5.       Good documentation skills to generate and maintain testing
artifacts (test plan, detailed ad high level reports) for various project
teams.

6.       Strong understanding of the monitoring solutions and KPI’s used to
determine performance of various application components/technology.

7.       Capable of performance testing end to end independently and being
a team player at same time.

8.       Analyze competitive products, tools and technologies and make
appropriate suggestions (may use demos, POCs) to influence product /
technology direction.

*Roles & Responsibilities*

1.       Ensure quality for our customers by validating Performance,
Stability, Scalability, and Reliability business critical application.

2.       Define approach to test components, front-end, sub-systems and
end-to end applications.

3.       Gather NFRs and define SLA for both client side and server side
KPIs.

4.       Participate in the constant improvement of our Performance Test
Automation practices

5.       Debug, troubleshoot, and work with team members to find and fix
software defects

6.       Work proactively with members of an Agile team to find and fix
defects in our product architecture

7.       Analyse defects / test results and diagnose the performance issues
with keen analysis on the KPIs.

8.       Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner
to agile team
