*Programmer/Analyst (Java)* 6 Months Monroe NJ F2F Interview is required *JD:* The Programmer/Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of new applications and provides support for existing applications and interfaces regularly with members of operations and external business partners. The Programmer/Analyst seeks a deep knowledge of the business and its IT systems as these are fundamental to the design of the enterprise applications necessary to keep the business running. Provides business solution design and implementation in a wide array of technologies. Offers technical input and advice to the development team and IT management, while also providing support and input to the end user community towards the solution of business problems within the constraints of time and budget provided by management. Ensures that applications and processes are well-documented, thoroughly tested, and operate reliably. Designs solutions to meet the requirements of the business users. Works and resolves issues independently and with minimal supervision. *Required:* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Programming & Design concepts and methodologies. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Java and the Java J2EE Platform: Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms Proficient with the Java Struts framework Experience using the Eclipse IDE and toolset Experience with one or more J2EE application servers, IBM Webshpere preferred Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC) Deep insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc) Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with at least one major commercial Relational Database Management System (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, etc.) Candidate should have a deep understanding on the theory and workings of Relational Database systems Advanced knowledge of the SQL query language, including query tuning and performance optimization Experience in the development of stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions. Minimum of 5 years of experience with web- and SOA-related technologies: HTML, XML, XML Schema, XPath, XQuery, WS-* standards (especially WSDL.) Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members. Experience with the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities. Proven experience of refactoring software and databases.
