The lead will work closely with the Architects in defining the architecture suitable for the software project within Organization. The tech lead will be hands-on in designing and developing software solutions. He / She will suggest improvements in the overall development process and hence drive improvements in productivity as well as help management with the technical evaluation of the team members.* ** *Skill set* ** - *Extensive knowledge and experience in OO programming with at least 8 years in Java / J2EE related technologies in a Linux environment: * - *Good Understanding of PL/SQL, XML, SOAP-based protocols, Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and MVC Architecture (using frameworks like Struts and technologies like velocity) * - *Good understanding of databases (Oracle preferred) and the SDLC process. Expertise in at least one application server: JBOSS, Apache Tomcat etc.* - *Experience working with JMS technologies, TIBCO, OSGI frameworks, Web Services, Business Intelligence solutions, BPEL and Agile methodologies is a big plus* - *Experience in making Engineering tradeoffs between architecturally significant conflicting requirements.* - *Interactions with business owners, project managers and experience with planning and prioritization* - *Experience with the development of distributed applications including applications which collect, transfer, and analyze large data sets* - *Experience with distributed transactional programming* - *Experience with asynchronous messaging programming concepts and implementation* ** *Typically requires BS/CS/Business or equivalent plus 10+ years experience in a software and services environment.
