Position: *Micro Strategy Developer* Location: *Foster City, CA* Duration: *1 year, then extensions to 2 years* Interview Process: Phone then WebEx (onsite is *not* required) Description: We are looking for a highly driven individual with recent significant experience with MicroStrategy BI development tool. The person should be able to work with the end users, gather requirements, generate design documents, develop, and support BI applications developed using MicroStrategy. Must have skills: Top required skills are MicroStrategy, Hadoop eco-system, and SQL. Candidate must have significant experience with all 3. Candidate must be familiar with the Agile methodology. The other most important skill required is the ability to work independently and be self motivated. Nice to have skills: Scripting language is a plus, but not required. Roles and responsibilities: As previously mentioned, candidate must be able a self starter and be able to work independently. The worker will be given deliverables on day 1 and must be able to meet all sprint deadlines. This is a high priority project for Visa.
