*Oracle E - Business Suite Project Manager*

*This is a contract position in Providence, RI*

*Contract position of 1 year +*

should be available to start working at the beginning of April)*





This person is to lead in the upgrade Oracle E-Business Suite known as the
Financial Management System (FMS) *from release 11.5.10.2 to Oracle
E-Business Suite version 12.2.x**. *The individual will be an Oracle EBS
Project Manager with extensive experience in Full-Cycle implementations of
Oracle EBS R12.

We also prefer an individual with extensive technical/functional experience
in configuring and coding (PL/SQL) with Oracle's E-Business Suite Core
Modules, preferably in the public sector. This person will be the Point of
Contact during the duration of the project and will lead and work closely
with the agency IT manager, system administrator, IT Staff team, finance
staff, payroll and the awarded implementation team.
The EBS Project Manager will ensure all project deliverables are
prioritized, issues and conflicts are resolved, and to manage all facets of
the project in ensuring a timely successful delivery of Oracle EBS R12.
Employee will work 35hrs per week and not work on official state holidays.
Assuming employee starts February, 2015, award will be for 2135 hours
through April-May, 2016.
The Oracle EBS Project Manager is expected to provide guidance, leadership
and functionality knowledge transfer to State staff.
The Oracle EBS Project Manager must be able to demonstrate depth in Oracle
Financials.
Provide technical and functional assistance for General Ledger, Purchasing,
Human Resources, Time and Labor, Payables, Inventory and Receivables.
Troubleshoot and work with Oracle Support to resolve problems.
The Oracle EBS Project Manager must have the ability to create
documentation, both technical and end user.

*Deliverables:*
Create the Request for Purchase (RFP) document to be used for eliciting
bids from potential vendors for the R12 upgrade.
Review with staff/stakeholders, key deliverables of the RFP including new
features to be implemented and to prioritize those deliverables to be
implemented during the upgrade.
Work with State's Oracle E-Business Group to upgrade and implement
prioritized features.
Work with Awarded Oracle E-Business Consultant Group to upgrade to R12 and
implement new features.
Review with staff and the implementation team setup and end user
documentation.
Document and Report on all phases of the implementation.
Document features and coordinate training for staff on the use of those
features.
Other - to provide Technical and Functional support as needed during the
full cycle implementation of the project.

*Oracle EBS Project Manager with the following skill set:*
5-10 years' experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite Project Manager
Extensive experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking, and
reporting
Proven skills in Integration, migration, Data consolidation and conversion
Experience in Full Cycle implementations of Oracle EBS Release 12x
