Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* *Sr. Business Analyst* *Horsham, PA* *12 months * Position Description: This person will be responsible for working between several projects related to data delivery. This person will work with data development teams and application teams to build data delivery models. They would work with cross functional teams to leverage more efficient data delivery processes, integrating new technologies, to work with application data. They will make recommendations to stakeholders related to application and data integrity and performance based on their analysis. This will include heavy business stakeholder interaction, working with a project manager. They will possess some reporting ownership, but would mainly be focused on data ownership using Business Objects and SQL. The environment this person will be in an Oracle/Teradata data warehouse environment day to day for the majority of their analysis. This is a new team, and this person will need to build subject matter expertise in the area of data analysis. In no particular order, the responsibilities include: Primary Responsibilities · Involvement with implementation planning, support, performance testing and troubleshooting. · Ability to review business requirements and develop a solution. · Provide high level estimates based on business requirements · Involvement with senior management in terms of supplying input for key design and architecture decisions, as well as work estimation and resource planning. · Acts as liaison between information technology and business units. · Interact with business and data architect teams to build suitable models. · Incorporate best practices and standards in metadata and report/dashboard development · Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences · Function as a mentor for other developers, providing assistance where needed · Be able to handle projects completely on their own, including interactions with other teams. · Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them · Evaluate existing data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies Job Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience · 7 or more years of experience with a focus on reporting and analytics and or management of global teams. · 5 or more years of direct experience with extensive in the following areas: a. Information Management and or Operations functions b. Reporting & Analytics c.
