*1.** Tools Engineer: 6 month contract, Mountain View*
*Description*
*Responsibilities:* Work cross-functionally to define requirements for the
Code Management (SCM), Bug Management and Build and Release Processes. Specify
and develop enhancements to our SCM, Bug, Build and Release tools Architect,
document and develop integrations between our SCM, Bug and Release tools.
Evaluate, acquire and implement tools/upgrades that improve developer
efficiency.
Develop reports and dashboards that provide transparency and metrics about
our development processes and tool usages.
*Skills Required:*
Strong experience with software development tools, preference for
Mercurial, Bugzilla, Jira, Reviewboard.
Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python/Django
(preferred), Ruby/Rails, Perl, Java, PHP, etc.
Strong experience with building and querying database systems languages
such as MySQL.
Familiarity with maintaining and configuring distributed Source Code
Management systems - Mercurial preferred.
Familiarity with maintaining and configuring bug management systems such
as Bugzilla and Jira.
Excellent oral, analytical and critical thinking skills.
At least 4 years experience in application and or tool development
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
*2.** Release Engineering Lead: 6 month contract, Mountain View*
*Description*
*Responsibilities:*
Gather and document requirements for the Source Code Management,
Product Build, Release Processes, Reporting and test integration.
Define, document and communicate the SCM and build processes.
Develop and communicate short and long term roadmaps and delivery
schedules.
Organize and lead team to deliver to schedule. Identify and resolve
issues
Define and report key metrics for build activity and scalability.
*Skills Required:*
Strong Release Engineering domain expertise. Ability to quickly
understand current build system and processes, recognize weaknesses,
provide vision for a scalable system, and provide guidance to team to
deliver.
Strong ability to be hands on to help team deliver against objectives.
Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python/Django
(preferred), Ruby/Rails, Perl, Java, PHP, etc., and with build oriented
languages such as Ant and Make.
Experience with implementation and administration of build automation
tools such as Buildbot (preferred), Jenkins/Hudson, etc.
Familiarity with maintaining and configuring distributed Source Code
Management systems - Mercurial preferred.
Excellent oral, analytical and critical thinking skills.
At least 4 years’ experience in software engineering, release
engineering, and/or configuration management.
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3. *IT Project manager – *( 6 months )
*GC / US citizen only*
Redwood Shores
Quantitative background (Engineering, Math, Statistics, Management
Information Systems, Computer Science preferred)
5 Years in Project management role
Experience managing projects related to business intelligence, analytics,
data quality, master data management, or big data highly desirable
Experience with Jira, Visio, Erwin Java, Python a plus.
