*12961-1 QA Manager* *Owings Mills, MD* *Contract – 12 months* *PHONE INTERVIEW AND F2F is a MUST* *Job Description:* *Responsibilities:* * Review requirements as needed * Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases * Create and execute test scenarios and test cases * Work closely with the developers, project managers, business analysts, other QA resources (IMPORTANT, Across many teams) * Provide application support as needed * Work well in a team environment (IMPORTANT) *Requirements:* * 7 years of experience for a QA Manager. * Must have a strong background in software engineering, testing, and automation to drive the overall planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of projects within the organization. * Knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of test automation tools, experience with large scale enterprise product, experience with relational databases, and management background. * Should have experience coding and/or testing in the denoted technologies. * Solid understanding of IT systems (Multi-Tier) and SDLC (IMPORTANT) * Experience writing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and test automation * Experience developing test data * Manual and automated testing experience preferred (MQC) * Familiarity with functional testing, system testing, compatibility testing, and regression testing * SQL knowledge * Defect tracking/resolution experience * Excellent verbal/written communication & customer service skills (IMPORTANT). Additional Skills: Excellent testing skills. Facets claims knowledge. Previous experience working with Facets ITS. *Notes from the call:* · Bill Gunderson- manager in QA, testing facets Claims, customer service, NASCO testing. Commercial, ITS blue squared, corp initiatives. · Bill has a Staff of 12 people, DC, Atlanta, Denver · This is a backfill for someone who left at the end of last year. · Need someone who has background in Facets claims, ITS, blue squared(all 3 required). Need to hit the ground running. · Manual and automated testing experience required. The use of data sets. · Working on the next release that goes live in October, but will need to start soon to get started on the ITS work before working on the release. · Washington DC, Owings mills, are locations for the position. Remote is an option but will have to go in for meetings. · Top skills: o ITS Knowledge, Current Facets Claims. o Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. Flexibility. o Excellent communication skills- verbally, read requirements, PRD’s, documents, transfer them to test cases, communicate issues and help understand what the problems are. · Will be working with a group of 3-4 people. Will not be managing or leading any projects from a testing perspective. Might need to lead in the future · Phone interview and will make the decision. Might need to come for in person, but not really a requirement. · Timeline of someone to start- onboard by April.
