They will be expected to take ownership of their projects end-to-end. This is not a position for someone who expects job assignments at the task level. The senior database developer will be expected to work from business requirements, but also be able to work with the BA and business users to insure that the requirements are complete and consistent. The business application is investment-focused: cash flow projections for a wide variety of assets (primarily fixed income), including bonds, swaps, futures, and equities. The position is located in Somerset. Requirements • 7+ years as a *SQL database developer, with at least three years on a recent (2005+) version of MS SQL Server. * • Able to work with the business users. • Experience working in finance or with investments is a strong plus. • Adept at logical design.
