It is 50% Production and 50% Dev client’s located in Oakland, CA 6+ Months Description • Collaborate, design and develop ETL solutions, prioritize and manage multiple analytical/data projects simultaneously and direct/lead the work of Business Intelligence Consultants and Business Intelligence Analytics Leads. Essential Functions: • Analyze requirements and provide work effort estimate. • Analyze functional requirements, mapping documents, assist in problem solving and trouble shooting. • Designing, coding, testing, modifying, debugging, documenting and implementation of Ab Initio Graphs. • Assist in technical specifications and other deliverable documents. • Develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing. Support System testing. • Work with multiple teams and report to technical leads. • Production support and maintenance of applications. • Performance tuning of Ab Initio graphs, processes and load routines. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study. • 4 years of experience working with large scale data warehouse applications as a Programmer/Analyst or Lead Programmer/Analyst. • 4 years of experience with Ab Initio tool set. • 4 years Strong Unix and Shell Scripting experience is must. • 4 years experience with Data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies. • 4 years experience in application development and interface design is essential. • 4 years experience using databases such as ORACLE and Teradata • 4 years experience interpreting the transformation rules and develop the software components to support the same. Preferred Qualifications: • Exposure and experience with Informatica. • Excellent Analysis and problem solving skills. • Must work well in a collaborative, team environment as well as independently. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
