Project Duration : 6 months + ( Can work 100% Remotely)
Description:
candidate will have 8-10 years experience working with the Oracle e-Business
Suite. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated who will thrive in an
informal, flexible but intense work environment.
Required Skills:
- Previous technical experience developing with Oracle E-Business Suite
applications
- Hands-on experience with the Supply Chain, Oracle Manufacturing, Order
Management, Inventory, Warehouse Management System, Purchasing, iProcurement
modules preferred.
- Experience with Databases - Oracle 10g/11g. Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills.
- Extensive Experience in designing/developing PL/SQL packages and
experience using Open Interfaces and Oracle API's
- Familiarity with the business processes/business flows and the underlying
technical architecture of the Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Proficiency with tools used to support Oracle Applications development
including, but not limited to, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports, Workflow
Builder, Discoverer, XML Publisher, Application Object Library
- Hands on experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL, PL/SQL,
XML/XML Gateway, Open Interfaces and APIs.
- Considerable experience with developing with the Oracle Application
Framework (OAF) is a must
- Experience supporting e-Business Suite version upgrade preferred.
- Experience with well-established IDEs like JDeveloper.
- Basic Unix/Linux and shell script skills
- Basic experience with object-oriented programming, preferably JAVA.
- Exposure/Understanding of web 2.0 technologies - Webservices, SOA, BPEL
- Experience with source control tools
- Experience in performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge and use of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
methodologies, standards, and procedures with experience in promoting
database changes from development through production environments.
Responsibilities:
- Work on development of extensions using Oracle recommended frameworks,
creation/enhancements of reports, forms and workflow customizations,
conversions or interfaces from/to EBS, creation and modification of
Discoverer reports
- Work closely with Business Analyst to fully understand business
requirements
- Estimate required work efforts to complete assigned projects/enhancements.
- Collect requirements, design, write specifications, develop, technically
unit test and deploy solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Develop technical design documents to support any development effort
- Effectively work with other teams, (e.g. DBA's, System Administrators,
System Architects, etc.)
- Troubleshoot issues internally as well as work with Vendor's support
services for resolution.
