| Duties & Responsibilites : | Top three skill sets are Siebel CRM, Java and SOA. Systems Analyst Job Summary The systems analyst researches problems, plans solutions, recommends software and systems, and coordinates development to meet business or other requirements. The system analyst must be familiar with a variety of programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms, converting user requests into technical specifications, and developing cost analysis, design considerations, and implementation time-lines. The systems analyst reviews, analyzes, and modifies requirements such that the coding, testing, debugging and implementation of systems support business goals. Responsibilities: Support Solution Architects in creating solution designs Evaluate business requirements and prepare detailed system specifications. Construct high-level system integration charts and workflow diagrams by analyzing business and system requirements. Work with system SMEs to translate business requirements and use cases into system requirements documents Assist with developing estimates, project plans and timelines of solutions design. Document all requirements and preform detailed reviews with business and technology teams. Work with 3rd Party vendors and development teams to ensure technical requirements and constraints are understood and followed. Facilitate meeting sessions with both technical and business participants Retain ownership of solutions design throughout all phases of the project. Communicate system specifications to development teams and provide support throughout the implementation processes Support testing teams in preparation of testing plans and investigation of erroneous outcomes Perform root-cause analysis of production issues General Requirements: Proven analytical skills Excellent oral and written communications skills Ability to work in team-oriented environment Ability to work in a matrix managed environment Ability to lead and influence others Strong customer service orientation Communicate often and regularly to project stakeholders Control and coordinate the systems design for multiple complex projects Extensive experience with MS Office, Visio and PowerPoint Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong background in web design and development Understanding of content management systems ( preferably SDL Tridion ) Strong background in communication industry business support systems (BSS) Understanding of communication industry order processing flows Design experience/Detailed knowledge using object-oriented technologies ( Java J2EE and _javascript_ programming languages ) Design experience with customer relationship management (CRM) solutions (preferably Oracle Siebel) Understanding/Experience with SOAP/WSDL web services (preferably Oracle Fusion) Good understanding/Detailed knowledge of database technologies (preferably Oracle 10g or 11g) Experience in communications billing (preferably Oracle BRM) is a plus Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions is a plus |
