*DevOps Engineer*

*Job Description:*

•       The candidate is expected to lead design of DevOps platform,
Continuous Integration and Continuous Development tools and relevant
automation to implement an Agile DevOps methodology.

•       Articulate and guide development of tools and processes leveraged
across SDLC for continuous improvement in agility, quality and
process/tooling maturity that helps with source code management, branching
strategies, and static code analysis tools.

•       Work in partnership with Application Owners, Enterprise Architects
and Infrastructure teams to anchor automation of environment setup
configuration and operations management for hardware stack, OS stack,
virtualization needs, application/web servers, storage/database, firewalls
& load balancers, etc.

•       Work in partnership with testing team to facilitate integration
into Continuous Integration and Continuous Development process

•       Provides opinion on configuration management, build & deployment
management, version control and site reliability related decision making

•       Continue consistent effort to shorten the release cycles, improve
the supportability, enhance the performance and scalability of the
application landscape.

•       Drive effort to mentor engineers on the DevOps team on proactive
and reactive basis.



*Expertise and Skillsets:*

•       Should have hands on experience in implementation of DevOps
continuous delivery model for enterprise applications (Web, SOA, ETL and
backend)

•       Experience Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (*Jenkins**,
Chef, Puppet, etc), build tools (*ANT**, *Maven**, Nexus, etc), programming
languages (*Java**, Groovy), open source automation tools (Selenium,
REST-assured), code analysis tools (SonarQube, FortiFy), project management
tools (Rally, Jira, HP ALM), open source test frameworks (Cucumber, Junit),
SCM tools (SVN, ClearCase) and SQL (Oracle).

•       Proven stint in leading a team of systems engineering staff in
implementing automated configuration management, release
planning/engineering & establishing Continuous Integration and Continuous
Development best practices

•       Exceptional technical and non-technical presentation and
communication skills
