*Senior Front-End Java Developer / Senior UI Developer* *Dallas, TX* *6+ Contract* *9+ Yrs of Exp is MUST* *Job Description: Senior Front-End Java Developer / Senior UI Developer:* We are seeking a Front-End Developer for help with design, development, unit testing and deployment of multi-tiered systems. The Front-End Developer will collaborate with our Marketing User Experience team to take website designs from concept to a functioning interface. This role sits between the user experience creation and back-end development; the skills of the individual include familiarity with design so they understand what is being requested by the User Experience team and deep coding experience to allow them to enable the design across browsers and devices. This requires in-depth understanding of how browser-rendering engines behave to be able to implement a design for the web that renders correctly and get all those pesky pixels to line up perfectly. *Responsibilities & Tasks:* · Responsible for creating rich, stable JavaScript, CSS, and HTML frameworks for other UI developers to use · Involved and will help determine standards for UI development using evaluated 3rd party frameworks, plugins, or custom frameworks. · Responsible for maintaining and front-end coding of the following areas: o Working knowledge and experience in J2EE development including MVC, Struts and Hibernate o Work in a scrum environment to code Java and HTML/CSS mockups, test, and verify projects through development process o Work with development and product teams to create usability testable interfaces o Create reusable HTML and CSS modules o Be able to code detailed, functional pages from mockups in collaboration with web designers o Be able to work with java developers to integrate UI code with server side technology o Create reusable javaScript libraries where possible *Required Skills & Knowledge:* · Minimum of 9 years of Java programming.
