Perform information system security vulnerability scanning to discover and analyze vulnerabilities and characterize risks to networks, operating systems, applications, and other information system components. Previous information technology experience across* networks, network protocols, routers, firewalls*, and how they interact with assessment tools preferred Experience coordinating the logistics of penetration testing from scheduling to remediation tracking preferred Knowledge in the use of and/or analysis of reports from various industry standard *Network/Host Vulnerability Assessment tools* such as *Rapid 7, Nessus, Qualys, McAfee*, etc. to conduct Vulnerability Assessments of IT infrastructure. Familiarity with the use of and/or analysis of reports from various industry standard *Application Vulnerability Assessment tools* and services such as *AppScan, WhiteHat, Veracode*, etc. to conduct Application Assessments. Strong verbal, communication, and diplomacy skills with all levels of the business on vulnerability issues with strong attention to detail required. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, or as part of a team. Works on multiple projects as a team member and may occasionally lead smaller initiatives.
