*Job Title: Sr. Java Developer* *Location: Stamford, CT* *Duration: Longterm* *Working hours: 10 hr's per day* *Note: require local candidates only who can go for f2f* *Job Description:* - Design, develop, and support post execution processing systems and the portfolio management platform - Design and develop application interfaces and assist other teams with implementing interfaces. - Assist with the development of enterprise data cache solutions - Must have ability to take a project from specifications to deployment in the SAC environment. - Understand the detail architecture and implementation of the company's applications and systems and build and expand on top of this base. - Ability to communicate via producing documentation at all levels, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating Trading systems knowledge with technology skills. - Strong knowledge of and experience in supervising and executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies. · Technical skills: - Must be solid and strong in Java. Minimum 8 years experience in java on Intel platforms. - Must have strong distributed programming experience and system programming experience. Working experience with middleware a plus. - Must have Graphical User Interface (GUI) experience. - Must have strong experience with building libraries and server side components. - Working experience of SQL/database design. - Experience with Test Driven development methodology - Experience with Automated Build and Testing Tools - Strong Working Experience with Oracle Coherence distributed cache technologies. - Strong Working Experience with Java based messaging technologies. - Full project lifecycle experience and hands on design and development experience. Should be able to specify coding standards and lead design reviews. Familiar with source control tool and iterative development methodology. - A deep knowledge of technical architecture design and a good understanding of technology tools and components to reasonably argue for and against all components (middleware, database, reporting tools, etc.) in that architecture. - Experience building and maintaining resilient mission critical systems with high throughput and low latency · Business Knowledge: - Familiar with US and International Equity markets. - Familiar with Life Cycle of Trade Post - Execution - Able to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
