Senior MS Exchange Engineer Location: Marlborough, MA Duration: 6+ months THIS IS NOT AN ADMINISTRATOR ROLE; OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCHANGE ENGINEER.
Skills Required 7-10 years experience supporting Microsoft Exchange. Required Extensive experience in design, maintenance and support of an Exchange infrastructure including performance, capacity, recovery technologies for DR and HA, and journaling for compliance. Required Knowledge of industry best practices related to email routing, filtering, monitoring, storage, backup and disaster recovery. Required Strong analytical skills - ability to diagnose the interoperability of a diverse set of technologies such as Exchange, Active Directory, VOIP, SQL and A/V, VMWARE. Other key technologies include OCS, Oracle, MOSS, SAN, TCIP, SIP, and Avaya. Required Application Experience in Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, Active Directory, Iron Mail, Blackberry Enterprise Server, OCS 2007, Symantec Enterprise Vault. Required Strong knowledge of ITIL practices - Configuration, Change and Release Management Strong Infrastructure Management background - capacity planning, performance management and security.
