Role - Unix System Engineer Duration - 6-12+ months Location - Kansas City Will hire from a phone interview. I need someone that can design and build out UNIX (virtualized Linux and Oracle) environments. Multiple instances will be built out. Production, test, and staging environments. Must be able to plan the build from storage, failover, clustering, server etc to OS to DB size etc . . and after doing the planning - build out the environments. KCP&L doesn't have the environments built out that are needed to run the new implementations of Oracle software and associated software and so they need to bring in a contractor to build out the environments. This person will most likely be a Senior UNIX Engineer (not Admin).
