*Philadelphia, PA* *Long Term (12months +)* *Phone and face to face - no Skype* *Website Performance Analyst / Engineer* *Job Overview* As a member of the eCommerce Site Operations, the Website Performance Analyst / Engineer works with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout eBusiness organization to ensure consumer facing web properties provide the optimal level of performance for visitors. This role is responsible for analyzing page performance data in collaboration with SMEs to quickly identify performance issues and opportunities for improvement. They will lead the root cause analysis to identify appropriate action items and then manage and track the work to improve page performance assigned to various individuals/teams. *Key Responsibilities* · Collaborate with key business stakeholders to define critical web pages and target performance metrics · Analyze captured data, interpret results and offer summary insights, conclusions, and recommendations as appropriate · Identify action items required to address page performance issues and manage multiple, sometimes cross-team, projects through completion · Collaborate with Operations to create and manage web page performance tests and reports of critical web pages across multiple applications in multiple hosting environments using CatchPoint · Provide on-going support for reporting KPIs, including a bi-weekly presentation to upper management on issues, opportunities, action items and resolutions. · Identify and support opportunities to improve monitoring tactics and work with the event and incident management teams to operationalize it · Track the performance of pages across multiple sites to investigate questionable trends and metrics that exceed targets · Collaborate with SMEs to perform in-depth analysis of pages that are not performing within service level agreements. · Attend daily meetings with IT / business leadership, teams and vendor partners to report / discuss performance issues as needed · Support efforts to measure and track page performance metrics in lower (development) environments · Collaborate with the traffic analytics team as required to help correlate performance with conversions and other key traffic metrics · Manage the implementation of other page performance initiatives, such as real user monitoring *Required Qualifications and Experience * · Technology savvy – have a propensity to learn about new technologies complemented with a natural passion and curiosity to problem solving · Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role for a high-volume transactional, consumer-facing website environment. · Broad system knowledge including knowledge of OS configuration, .NET Framework, IIS, networking, load balancers, message queuing, caching algorithms, etc. · Experience using performance analysis tools (e.g. Visual Studio, ANTS Profiler, .NET Memory Profiler, Jet Brains, CLR Profiler, Firebug, dynaTrace, Catchpoint, etc.). · Solid analytical skills and knowledge of statistics, with the ability to quickly and accurately identify trends in statistical data. · Experience with current monitoring solutions (e.g. Aternity, Soasta, Coradiant, CatchPoint, Keynote, Compuware Gomez, etc.). · Capable of drilling down into performance issues across multiple levels of our applications and infrastructure. · Effectively summarize and present data analysis, root causes action items and resolutions in person and using slides, for multiple audiences (i.e. technical, managerial, and business). · Capable of creating technical documentation and requirements, and collaborating with technical experts to create performance improvement strategies and projects. · Proven ability to organize and manage action items as multiple cross-functional projects from conception to completion. · Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint (or similar) · Planning, negotiation and facilitation skills · Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives without direct supervision - resourceful and self-motivated · Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written *Desirable Qualifications* · Understanding of all the factors of web performance including front-end components like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CDN, network, DB layers and back-end infrastructure and 3rd party cloud services · Previous experience with Catchpoint a plus · Previous ASP.NET development or engineering experience *Thanks & Regards,* *Kuldeep Yadav* *Sage Group Consulting, Inc.* *3400 Highway 35, Suite # 9, Hazlet, NJ 07730* *Email: kkya...@sagetl.com <ssi...@sagetl.com>* *Direct: *732-856-5824 *Work: 732-767-0010 Ext: 502* *Fax: *732-767-0015 *Website : www.sageci.com <http://www.sageci.com/>* *Yahoo IM : kd.int...@ymail.com <dilip...@yahoo.com>* *G talk: kd.int...@gmail.com <dilipsingh...@gmail.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
